What is the ECOdirectory?go to top

The ECOdirectory is a one-stop shop for property owners, managers and developers to:

  • source environmentally and/or socially responsible products and services;
  • find information, consultation and training for building and developing ECOproperties;
  • build networks.

All Entries appear in the online ECOdirectory (www.eco.com.au) and some Entries are also included in our other publications, such as the Sustainable Living Mag&Zine, the EcoProperty Update, and the EcoProperty Buyer's Guide.

If you would like to showcase your work or take the opportunity to explain the 'eco' features of your products you may like to consider one of the Entries that offers additional benefits through publications and explanations.

All Entries in the ECOdirectory include an 'Eco-statement' which demonstrates the commitment to sustainability.

What does a business statement include? go to top

The business statement outlines the products or services offered to the marketplace. Examples may include:

  • "Recycled building products - timber, flooring, doors, windows."
  • "Permaculture design, education & planning."
  • "We provide design solutions that don't cost the earth."

What does an 'Eco-statement' include? go to top

EcoProperty wishes to ensure that all Entries in the ECOdirectory are for businesses, organisations, products and services that genuinely contribute to sustainability. This commitment could be integral to the products or services provided and also demonstrated in business policy, practice and ethics.

The Eco-statement promotes this commitment to sustainability to our audience. Examples include:

  • "We are committed to maximising the lifecycle of timber."
  • "We use and promote the use of energy from renewable sources"

When will my Entry appear on the website?go to top

Your ECOdirectory Entry will appear on our website within 1-2 working days after payment is received. A Basic Entry, currently free of charge, will appear on our website 1-2 working days after we receive your Entry Form.

Can I add more than one Entry to the website go to top

You are welcome to add as many Entries as you like. Each Entry can be listed under three categories in the ECOdirectory. If you wish to promote different products and services with a different Entry, charges may apply - however, please note that a Basic Entry is currently free of charge for one year.
We will soon offer the ability to log-in and edit your Entries online.

Do I have to use the online forms to make an ECOdirectory Entry? go to top

No. If you prefer, you are welcome to or phone us on (03) 5348 1546 and we will send you a printed ECOdirectory Entry form which you can return to us by fax, post or email.

How is payment made?go to top

We can accept payment by cheque, money order, credit card or online banking. If you would like us to invoice you, you can select this option on the Entry form.

In the online Entry Form, simply fill in how you would prefer to pay and we will contact you to arrange payment. Alternatively, you can download the pdf-format Entry Form and send it to us with your cheque/money order or credit card details.
