What is ECOproperty®? We work on behalf of the land and natural habitat to preserve work undertaken which contributes to ecological sustainability. We provide a number of products and services which support our activities to protect and promote ecological sustainability, one of which is ECOProperty®. This provides a Guide to individuals and businesses wanting to buy, sell, build, develop, promote what we call ECOProperty®. These can be homes, land, farms, businesses, bushland, tourism facilities - publicly or privately owned. Outlined below is ECOProperty®. You will find examples of these properties on our web site. We thank Marion Anstis and her work in the book 'Tadpoles of South-eastern Australia' for use of the images and information about tadpoles and frogs, and the Corroboree Frog in particular. Please see more details of Marion's work here and buy her fantastic book in our Bookshop here. All proceeds of the sale of her book go to Marion. Use of ECOProperty® is for property and business owners, real estate agents, developers and others who want to recognise, promote and protect these features. Use requires prior approval - please see Licensing and Copyright here or contact our offices for further information. How Does it Work?We have chosen the Corroboree frog as a symbol for the goals we have in our business and in our personal lives. For details of why we have chosen frogs and the Corroboree Frog in particlar please see here When
a property receives the 5 Corroboree frogs it is considered to be highly
qualified in contributing to ecological sustainability. The use of the
eggs and tadpoles indicates some features of ECOProperty®. As the property
increases in features it moves in transition towards Frog. ECOProperty® is not based on science and over time will be improved through use and feedback. Assessments are made on the basis of experience and training in real estate, property, organic farming, Permaculture, architecture, building, social sciences, accounting, research and business development. The type and number of professionals and organisations involved in an assessment depends on the complexity and nature of the property.
